The Journal of Sign Language and Linguistics is an academic journal focused on the study of sign language linguistics and related fields, whose background is closely tied to the importance of sign language as a primary means of communication for the hearing-impaired. As the natural language of hearing-impaired people, sign language not only carries rich cultural connotations and expressions, but also occupies a unique position in linguistic research.
The purpose of the journal is to provide a platform for sign language researchers, sign language interpreters, linguists and scholars in related fields to share the latest research results, discuss cutting-edge issues in sign language linguistics, and promote the further development of sign language research. By publishing high-quality academic papers, research reports and review articles, the journal is committed to presenting the latest advances in sign language linguistics, including the study of sign language structure and usage, grammatical rules, and lexical morphology.
