Heritage And Society is a peer-reviewed academic journal worldwide. Its focus includes but is not limited to collective memory, historical preservation, cultural resource management, public interpretation, cultural protection and revitalization, conscience sites, dispersed heritage, education, legal/legislative development, cultural heritage ethics, and the current social roles of core heritage concepts such as authenticity, importance, and value.

This magazine aims to provide a forum for academic, professional, and community level reflection and exchange on the cultural, political, and economic impacts of heritage on contemporary society. Provided a platform for communication on tangible and intangible heritage for those working in international and government organizations, academic institutions, private heritage consulting and CRM companies, as well as local, relevant, and indigenous communities. Special emphasis is placed on social science methods and international perspectives to promote active and critical discussions among heritage professionals, planners, policy makers, and community leaders, as well as the dissemination of practical data.
