The Journal of Immersion and Content based Language Education (JICB) is an international academic journal dedicated to the field of immersive and content-based language education. This journal invites submissions of research and theoretical papers related to language education backgrounds at all levels (from preschool to university) that emphasize the use of language as a tool for teaching subject matter.
JICB's research scope includes bilingual and multilingual education, various forms of language immersion education, subject driven education for minority, heritage, and indigenous languages, bilingual education, content oriented language teaching, content and language integrated learning, English led instruction, language in curriculum, cover up English as a second language teaching, language for specific and academic purposes, etc. JICB welcomes submissions of reports, empirical research, and/or theoretical discussions, with a particular preference for innovative submissions that can drive progress and generate new knowledge in the field
