The Journal of Sports Analytics is an academic journal dedicated to the field of sports analysis, covering a wide range of disciplines including computer science, mathematics, economics, engineering, statistics, physics, artificial intelligence, psychology, political science, machine learning, and business. This journal has been published in the form of Open Access since 2015, without charging any publication fees. It adopts the CC BY or CC BY-NC license agreement, which means that the author does not retain unlimited copyright and publishing rights after publishing the article.
Although the Journal of Sports Analytics has shown positive academic contributions in some aspects, it also has some limitations, such as a self citation rate of 16.70% and not being included in the latest JCR Journal Citation Reports.
