Environment And Society-advances In Research is an annual retrospective journal focusing on research advances in the field of environment and society. The journal is dedicated to publishing commissioned articles on specific publication topics, which often respond to specific publication calls. With the rapid development of the field of environmental and social studies, its increasing importance in academia, policy making circles, and the public at large is reflected in the publication of journals.
The journal covers pressing challenges such as the environmental crisis, deforestation, biodiversity loss, the looming energy crisis, emerging resource wars, environmental refugees, climate change and environmental justice.
