Kajian Malaysia is a journal dedicated to advancing academic knowledge in Malaysia. Its goal and scope is to encourage discussions between various branches of social sciences and humanities to promote academic research in Malaysia. Its published articles, comments, and notes, both in terms of content and methodology, can arouse the interest of numerous scholars. Although the journal primarily focuses on works in the field of Malaysian research, articles with theoretical content may also be published.

This journal adopts a bilingual publishing policy (Malay and English), and the editorial board reserves the right to decide which language to publish articles in and is responsible for providing professionally acceptable translations.
