Landscape Architecture Frontiers is an academic journal jointly sponsored by the School of Architecture and Landscape Design at Peking University and Higher Education Press. The journal is published in both Chinese and English, focusing on the intersection of academic research and design practice in landscape design. Each issue of the magazine revolves around a theme, comprehensively showcasing relevant theories, technologies, methods, and application explorations, aiming to solve ecological and environmental problems through landscape design, and promote new aesthetics and cultures that contribute to the realization of a beautiful China and a beautiful earth.
The content of this magazine is not limited to China, but also focuses on landscape design research and practice worldwide, especially in the context of sustainable development. LA Frontiers focuses on research areas such as climate change, biodiversity conservation, ecological restoration, rural development, design justice, and human health and well-being. The journal encourages the submission of research papers, integrated application-oriented reviews, review articles, design research and practical cases to promote the development of contemporary landscape design disciplines.
